    Four star
    the pole is pretty sturdy. the ball at the top and the rope cleat is pretty cheap. the rope cleat broke the first time i put it on the pole.

    Great kit, some cheap parts, good service
    The pole itself is excellent quality. As others have mentioned the accessories are a bit cheap, the flag clips won’t last and the lanyard tie down is very lightweight. One pole arrived with a small dent but the manufacturer immediately offered to send a replacement. The dent probably happened during manufacturing as it was painted and smooth. The item ships well packaged in a sturdy cardboard tube with each pole segment wrapped in protective foam.

    High quality pole that could use hardware to match
    I really like this pole it looks grate and the steel construction gives me peace of mind that it will not fold in the bad storms we have here in Florida. However I had to ding it for one start because of the low quality of the hardware that was included, which is also a durability concern.

    Pros: This pole was very easy to assemble I ended up going bigger on the hole then recommended in order to use (2) 50lb bags of cement. It is better to spend the little extra to buy 2 bags versus one and it only and a few extra minutes to the setup time, especially if it is quick setting. the ball, and pulls holder hardware for the the pole were the same high quality that I would expect of a kit of this price and quality. The finish on the pole is awesome and there was ample room between the ball and pulley holder for the solar powered light that I used.

    Cons: The pulley, flag clips, and lower rope mooring cleat were sub par for the cost of this kit. The mooring cleat broke the first time it used it. I ended up buying stainless steal flag clips instead of using the plastic ones. I decided to stay with the plastic pulley with the expectation that I will have to replace it at some point in time. I also ended up buying some beaded flag retaining rings to use as the lower flag mounting clip, I think this is something that could have also been included.

    If you want a flag that will last a life time and that looks great this is a great choice, I just wish they would include a solid mooring cleat, a stainless steal pulley, a stainless steal flag clip, and a stainless steal beaded flag retaining ring. For now I would make sure you order those items when you order this flag. It would also be nice to have a choice between a ball or an eagle for the topper.

    18 Foot Flag Pole Kit
    I bought this kit because it looked sharp in the pictures and the price was good. It appears to be very well made and very easy to assemble.
    I live on Cape Cod where it’s all sand so I used 3 full 80 lb bags of quick dry cement to anchor the pole.
    The flag clips are plastic so I replaced with brass flag holders that are rubber coated so they are so much more secure and they don’t clank against the pole. I also replaced the cleat that is included with a better quality one. The original one broke the first time I tied the rope to it.
    I’ve had the flag pole installed now for almost 3 months and it was a very good purchase. Definitely would recommend.

    Beautiful and proud
    Very easy to assemble and very nice quality. This poll looks great and will make you proud to display your favorite flag on it. It also comes with a quality American flag. The only thing I’m not sure about is how well the plastic flag clips will hold up, but I do like that they don’t make a clinking noise against the pole. I did buy extra plastic clips just in case I want to fly a second flag (flag pole kit only comes with two) or in case the clips that come with the pole break. If the plastic clips don’t hold up well I’ll probably end up buying metal clips, but they seem to be pretty strong so far.

    Extremely Impressed!
    Firstly let me say, anything that’s not Made in America, is simply Un-American.
    Secondly, if you fly an American Flag it MUST be Made in America and that goes for the pole too.

    This All American Steel Flag Pole kit is absolutely magnificent.

    It’s made from toughened US steel (NOT aluminium) so it won’t bend or snap after some light winds and the 4×6 ft flag that comes with it is the perfect size up high at 18 ft.
    The black galvanised steel is weather proof and super strong for all types of weather, rain, wind or searing heat.
    It’s beautiful and so easy to put together and install with clear instructions included and I highly recommend Rushmore Rose as a company as all my dealings with them over the years have been quick, easy and efficient and the products they produce are of the highest quality.

    It’s the perfect outdoor pole and flag for me, a true patriotic American. Thank you for producing such a great American product !

    I gave this 3 stars because of the low grade components.
    This flag was easy to assemble. However it was made out of some plastic parts that can fail over time and the cleat that secures the rope broke off in my hand while securing it. It was made out of some sort of low grade metal.

    Great pole, bad clips
    This American made pole is strong and sturdy and able to withstand the winds in my city. However the plastic clips that attach the flag to the rope are made of plastic and break easily. Too bad they could not include nice medal clips.

    Great quality flag and easy to install. A bit disappointed the 6foot pile is made in China. In reading the description it never occurred to me that the pole was made in China. I would have bought a different pole if I known but the same Made in USA flag.
